Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a condition seen in men in which a man loses the ability to obtain an erection at a level sufficient to sustain a healthy sexual relationship or to maintain that erection. Although ED is seen as a natural part of the ageing process, it can in fact be the result of many different physical and psychological factors. Heart diseases, diabetes, high blood pressure, hormonal problems and depression are among the health problems that can lead to erection problems.
