Personal Data Protection (KVKK)

Within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), we present for your information the specific provisions concerning the Digital Twin Platform used at the Doctor Binbay Urology Clinic:

1. Digital Twin Data Processing Activities

Within the scope of the Digital Twin Platform used at our clinic, we process detailed data relating to your urological health status. This data includes three-dimensional anatomical models, physiological parameters and medical imaging data.

2. Artificial Intelligence-Assisted Data Analysis

Your health data is analysed by artificial intelligence algorithms in order to improve diagnostic and treatment processes. These analyses are used for the purposes of personalised treatment planning and risk assessment.

3. Data Security and Storage Conditions

All data generated on the Digital Twin Platform is protected with end-to-end encryption and is accessible only by authorised healthcare personnel. Your data is kept in secure environments throughout your treatment process and for the legally required retention periods.

4. Limitations on Data Sharing

Your data on the Digital Twin Platform is not shared with third parties without your explicit consent. Where it is used for clinical research purposes, your data is anonymised and stripped of elements identifying you.

5. Patient Rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data on the Digital Twin Platform and to stop its processing. You may make a written application to our clinic to exercise these rights.

6. Additional Protections for Child Patients

Parental or legal guardian consent is mandatory for the data of our patients under the age of 18 on the Digital Twin Platform, and additional security measures are applied to that data.

7. Notification of a Data Breach

In the event of any security breach affecting your personal data, you and the relevant authorities will be notified within 72 hours at the latest in accordance with KVKK regulations.

8. Informed Consent

Before use of the Digital Twin Platform, a detailed informed consent form relating to data processing procedures will be provided and your explicit consent will be obtained.

9. International Data Transfer

Your data on the Digital Twin Platform is not transferred abroad unless you give explicit consent. Where transfer abroad is necessary, appropriate security measures will be taken within the scope of Article 9 of the KVKK.

10. Artificial Intelligence Model Development and Training

Provided your explicit consent is obtained, your health data may be anonymised and used for the development and training of artificial intelligence models. This use contributes to the improvement of diagnostic and treatment processes.
